GİSAŞ Gemi İnşa Sanayi A.Ş. was established in 1995 with participation of shipyards and sub-industry organizations operating in Tuzla Industrial Area for Shipbuilding and Repair.
Purpose for GİSAŞ Gemi İnşa Sanayi A.Ş. establishment is to rescue shipyards located within this area by use of their own means and to relieve them from the burden of some of the irrational supplying works and jobs they do alone.
GİSAŞ Gemi İnşa Sanayi A.Ş. provides its business partners with materials and equipments, which are today’s main inputs in shipbuilding and repair, under appropriate conditions.
Based on the same principle, GİSAŞ Gemi İnşa Sanayi A.Ş. operates the facilities that it has implemented with the investments it made inside an integrated structure within the scope of production activities of shipyards and although they are excluded from shipyard activities, it provides services closely related to the shipbuilding and repair sector to the shipyards under suitable conditions.
GİSAŞ Gemi İnşa Sanayi A.Ş.; by providing the materials and equipments, constituting the main inputs in Tuzla Shipyards Area, which is the largest shipyard area of Turkey, under the most suitable conditions, and by keeping its partnering shipyards’ interests at top levels strengthens their positions in competitive international conditions.

“Certificate of Authorization to Organize a Training Seminar and Practice Program on Preparedness for Pollution of Marine Environment Caused by Petroleum and Other Harmful Substances” was received with document number 2013-01. Our authorization documents are updated periodically.

The demand tracking system began being use over the internet by commissioning of MANEUVER software system.

Service began being provided with 7 Maritime Captains, 4 Towboats / tugboats, 3 Mooring boats and 1 Pilot boat, which are entirely affiliated to GİSAŞ.

Environmental Consultancy Service started being provided to facilities with a team of experts upon receiving our Environmental Consultancy Qualification Certificate with document numbers ÇDYB-0470. Our authorization documents are updated periodically.

We received our “Emergency Response Authorization Certificate in Pollution of Marine Environment by Petroleum and Other Harmful Substances” with document number 2009/4-2010/09. Our authorization documents are updated periodically.

Ship Piloting and Towing services started with the partnership of Dekaş-Med Marine.
